You probably already use Charlotte Metro's Mobile Banking to access your CMCU Online Banking account.
If not, simply download the App to your smart phone for more access to your accounts.
- With CMCU Mobile Banking open on your phone, select the Mobile Deposit option.
- Sign the back of the check, just like you would if you came to the credit union or made your deposit at an ATM.
- Under your signature write "Mobile Deposit" and the date of the deposit.
- Then, take a picture of the front and back of your check and submit the item for deposit. It's that easy!

A hold may be placed on a portion of the deposit amount while the check is processed in accordance with Charlotte Metro's standard funds availability policy. A message in CMCU Mobile Banking may appear stating the amount of the deposit that is available. No message? No hold.
After you make your Mobile Check Deposit, keep the original check for sixty (60) days following the date of deposit. Once the timeframe has passed you may destroy the original check.
